This private residential project is a family home located in Copenhagen, designed with a playful yet thoughtful approach to materiality and everyday living. The interior explores natural materials in an experimental and tactile way, creating spaces that feel warm, personal, and inviting.

Inspired by the surrounding views and the city’s characteristic red tones, the color palette is drawn directly into the home. These shades are subtly echoed throughout the interior, most notably in the kitchen, where a Calacatta Viola countertop is selected for its deep bordeaux and red veining. This bold material choice becomes a central design element, adding character and depth while grounding the space in a strong visual identity.

The home is designed to balance playfulness with functionality, supporting the needs of family life without compromising on aesthetics. Flexible layouts, durable materials, and carefully considered details come together to create a joyful, functional, and enduring family home.
